ITALIAN VIOLIN SCHOOL OF GENOA 19°

Italian violin  probably from the School  of Genoa in the style of Erminio MONTEFIORI made in the last quater of the 19° century.
Table of spruce of irregolar medium grain opening out towards the flanks.
Two piece back of poplar from the Plain of the Pô.
Ribs and neck of similar wood.
Varnish of a ligth brown colour on golden ground.
