Slit drum made in Bali (Indonesia) early 20° century. Polychromatic anthropomorphe body made in a section of wood hollowed out through a longitudinale slit in shape of mouth with sharp teeth. The thicknesses of lips are different and produce two different pitches.
Instrument used in temples for the religious rites.
