Neapolitan mandolin by Giuseppe VINACCIA made in Napoli (Italy) in 1909.
Two piece table of spruce, tortoiseshell scratchplate.
Ebony fingerboard, 17 frets.
Head veneered with ebony and rosewwod, machineheads enclosed within one engraved silvered plate, mother of pearl buttons.
Neck veneered with ebony.
Rich floral decorations of white mother of pearl, abalone, ebony and maple stringing on the edge of the table, of the soundhole, on the scratchplate, on the fingerboard and the head.
Body of thirty seven rosewood fluted ribs divided by metallic stringing and edged with pink rosewood and metallic stringing.
